Stone Temple Posers

Tickets are still available to Mistress Carrie’s Grunge Brunch next Saturday at the City Winery - Boston.  This will be an awesome acoustic event in the spirit of the MTV unplugged series.  One week later we return to the Boat in Dracut MA for an all-electric night; opening will be Garden Grove (Sublime tribute).

First off, the Stone Temple Posers want to thank all the folks that came out to Sanctuary in the snow storm this past Saturday night! Bad weather doesn’t turn away passionate RHCP, Green Day, and STP fans, including the couple that drove up from RI, or the clan that drove in from Charlton. A shout out to the great guys (and gals) in Pretty Little Ditties who did a mighty fine job covering Red Hot Chili Peppers, and our friends in Whatsername who wowed once again with a set of Green Day. First off: Thank you STP fans in Portland for showing up on a cold January Thursday eve and rocking with us at the Portland House of Music and Events on January 30. We had a blast with you guys! Portland Maine never disappoints. A shout out to Scott for masterfully dialing in the sound, to Heart-Shaped Box (Nirvana tribute) for their kickass opening set, and to the venue for their hospitality.  Thanks to Nate from Wardryx for photos (see photo gallery).  Did you know that this month 10 years ago was when the Stone Temple Posers made our stage debut?  We ran through a few songs at an open mic night at the former Chit Chat Lounge in Haverhill February 17, 2015 and then, thanks to Mike Pacheco, ten days later we headlined at the former Uncle Eddies in Salisbury.   Ten years later we are still at it, thanks to all of the fans and supporters.  Our next show is at the Sanctuary Event and Live Music Venue in Maynard, MA on Saturday February 15 where we will be lighting it up with our friends Whatsername (Green Day tribute) and Pretty Little Ditties (Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute).

The Stone Temple Posers will be returning to Boston in March; this time to the Haymarket Lounge at the City Winery for Mistress Carrie's Grunge Brunch on Saturday March 22, 2025.  This will be an unplugged acoustic show.  Tickets on sale now for our debut at this venue.  These grunge brunch events tend to sell out, so get your tickets before they disappear.  The Stone Temple Posers will also be joining the line up for Summer Jam #5 on June 7, 2025 at the Salem-Derry Elks (Salem, NH) with five other band including Zep and Zombie tributes.  Next Thursday we will be in Portland, Maine at the Portland House of Music and Events with Heart Shaped Box (Nirvana tribute).

We are delighted to be returning to Maine this January: we will be at the Portland House of Music and Events on 1/30/24 (Portland, ME).  Warming things up will be Heart-Shaped Box (Nirvana tribute).  Come as you are to this onslaught of 90s grunge!  We are also going returning to the Sanctuary Cultural Arts Center, Maynard, MA in February: On 2/15/24 Whatsername (Green Day tribute) and Pretty Little Ditties (Red Hot Chili Peppers s tribute) will be joining us for killer night of music.  Tickets now available to both shows. 

Our sincerest apologies, but due to circumstances beyond our control, the show this Saturday at the Magic Room is canceled. Please stay tuned for future show announcements.

The Stone Temple Posers had a blast rockin Melody Mountain Farm’s first-ever Tibutepalooza last Saturday. Thanks to Dan Blaise for organizing the event and inviting us, Brenda, John, and the rest of the MMF staff for their hospitality, Don and his crew for running sound, and the fans that rocked along with us in the summer heat and passing shower. The other bands rocked it too, including the Killer Teens, Jagged Little Thrill, Social Destruction, Street Survivors, and PWR/ACE.  Our next show is October 18 at the Nest in Plaistow, NH with Whatsername.
