The Stone Temple Poser boys dished out some 90s era rock at Rack's Bar and Grill in Plaistow last night. Thanks go out to Dave, Phil and the rest of the Thursday night regulars for their warm hospitality. Fueled with Rhonda's awesome cocktails, we managed to not destroy too much of the stage and equipment. Audio highlights from the night are on our Audio page...have a listen.
New Dates Added
We've added some dates in May including Uncle Eddies in Salisbury, MA on May 1 and the Luck Dog Music Hall in Worcester, MA on May 16 (see Shows page for more details). You may not have noticed, but we also streamlined our website URL (we are now just http://stonetempleposers.com, a little easier to remember). Barring sickness or a major catastrophe, we are planning a short set of songs at Racks in Plaistow this Thursday. We will be playing songs from STP's third release Tiny Music...Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop to celebrate the release of this album 19 years ago this Thursday...does anybody know how the story really goes, or do we all just hum along?
New video uploaded
The Stone Temple Posers rocked Uncle Eddies this past Friday night. Our friends in Root 90 (a band focusing on 90s music) warmed things up for us. We expect to be back at Uncle Eddies soon, stay tuned. Check our video page for new video from the show; new audio has also been uploaded to our audio page...all FREE! We are working on booking several other gigs in Lowell and Worcester and may also play a few more open mike nights in the area.
New Audio Uploaded
A live audio version of Creep recorded earlier this week has been uploaded on our audio page.
Debut Performance
We had our debut public performance last night at the Chit Chat Lounge in Haverhill. Cozy little night club in downtown Haverhill. We lucked out with some nearby parking for unloading. Got a good response from the crowd including Kim and her clan. Hope to be back someday. Bob did an excellent job mixing sound. Tyler is the man keeping thirst at bay. Also playing last night was Kerrin (hope I spelt it correctly) who wowed on the keys. As a former compatriot once said: "One Down".
