Stone Temple Posers

The Stone Temple Posers had a great time rockin Brothers Tavern last Friday night. It’s always a pleasure working with Mick the consummate sound guy; thanks for providing a house drum kit. Brothers Tavern: thanks for the hospitality and inviting us. And of course thanks to all the Milfordians that rocked with us. We appreciate all the returning fans and new fans alike. The Stone Temple Posers wanna thank the fine folks from the Barre Vermont area for showing up last Saturday night at Gusto’s. We had a great time rocking with you guys. Gusto’s: thanks for having us and the hospitality. Kudos also to our own Hal for running the house sound system. Our next show is in Milford Massachusetts, this Friday, November 21.  We will be starting off with an unplugged set followed by a night of full-on STP.

After a brief hiatus, the Stone Temple Posers are gearing back up for a busy November.  We will be in Barre, VT on Saturday November 15 at Gustos.  We will also be in Milford, MA on Friday November 21 at Brothers Tavern.  We will be performing the whole night on both of these occasions featuring an unplugged set followed by two full-electric face-melting sets.   On Friday January 9, 2026 we will be back at the Vault in New Bedford, MA.  Opening for us will be Heart-Shaped Box with their new front man, and our friend Nick Warren.  

Had a great time at Brothers Tavern last Friday night making some new friends in Milford, MA! We started the night with a set of unplugged STP and then rocked out two killer sets of hits and deep cuts. Thanks to Brothers Tavern for having us, the amazing Mick for running sound, and all our new fans.

Once again we kicked off the Plaistow summer music series to a receptive all-ages crowd at the town common under sunny skies. It’s always a blast playing unplugged STP outdoors on a summertime evening. It was wicked hot this past Sunday 6/22, but with plenty of fluids, a killer sound system, and a great crowd, we played our first rockin show in Connecticut; thanks for the warm reception Vernon CT! It was an honor sharing the stage with the likes of Jagged Little Pam (Alanis Morrisette tribute), Negative Creep (Nirvana tribute), Brock Landers Real Thing (Alice In Chains tribute), Nothingman (Pearl Jam tribute), and Foo Fightaz (Foo Fighters tribute). Thanks to Josh for inviting us and the Rocking Horse Bar & Grill for their hospitality. Our next show is this Wednesday 6/25 on the Plaistow Town Common at 6pm where we kick off the town’s summer music series. This is a free show courtesy of the Recreation Department. We are unplugged for this family-friendly show. Bring your favorite lawn chair or blanket and kick back.

The Stone Temple Posers will be in Vernon CT tomorrow, Sunday, June 22,  helping celebrate 30 years of Foo Fighters with the Foo Fightaz, and four other 90s tributes to Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, and Alanis Morrisette.   Weather will be more than favorable.  Come join us at the Rocking Horse Bar & Grill in Vernon CT.  Music starts at 3PM.

The Stone Temple Posers are headed to Vernon CT next.  This will be our first shown in Connecticut!!  We will be part of a killer six band lineup featuring Foo Fightaz (Foo Fighters tribute), Nothingman (Pearl Jam tribute), Brock Landers Real Thing (Alice in Chains tribute), Negative Creep (Nirvana tribute), and Jagged Little Pam (Alanis Morrissette tribute).  This show is on Sunday June 22 at the Rocking Horse Bar & Grilll from 3 - 9PM.  Tickets are only $10 until Saturday 5/17 at noon.  Grab 'em at the discount price! 

The Stone Temple Posers had a great time at the Boat last Friday night. We want to give a big shout out to the guys in Garden Grove for delivering a dynamite set of Sublime tunes to start the night powered by a few shots of whiskey. Thanks as usual to all the folks that came out to rock with us, the Boat for their hospitality, and Larry for running sound again. Our next scheduled show is June 25.  A new show has been added at Brothers Tavern, Milford, MA on July 11, 2025.  More details later.

FIRST: Special thanks to all those that joined us at City Winery-Boston this past Saturday for some great food, day-drinking, and unplugged STP!  We had a fun time hanging out at the Haymarket Lounge. Thanks to the City Winery for their hospitality, Mistress Carrie for hosting/promoting this grunge brunch, and Pete for running sound.  Photos to be posted soon.  SECOND: This Friday, 3/28/25, we are extremely excited to be returning to the Boat in Dracut, MA.  We will be joined this time by Garden Grove, an off-the-charts Sublime tribute.  $10 cover at the door.  Ample parking, great stage, tasty food, cold beverages, and a killer sound system.  Music at 8PM.
