The Stone Temple Posers are a STP Tribute band based out of Plaistow, New Hampshire, and this is our official website.  Please visit our Facebook page and "like" us and/or join our email list for monthly emails with updates and exclusive content.  We play 100% pure STP!  Although we have enough material to play a whole night, we often will share the night with one or more other great local tribute/original/cover bands.  For smaller and more intimate venues, we can perform a whole unplugged acoustic set of STP.  So if you are a venue in New England, contact us; if you are a fan, come see us.    If you are a venue looking for a demo video, please go to our EPK page; audio is on our Audio page.  We are also on ArtistBomb.com.  Our guitars/basses are expertly serviced by Chris from Black Cat Guitar (blackcatguitar.com).

Shows to be Rescheduled

As the ‘15 days to stop the spread’ turns into 45, our hearts go out to all those impacted by this virus from China. God bless the doctors, nurses, and emergency response people on the front line. Live music may have been been put on hold to focus on flattening the curve for the moment, but these days of isolation too shall pass. We are rescheduling our April and May shows, and look forward to rockin with you later on this year. You can’t keep the Stone Temple Posers quiet forever.

Next Show: the Vault in New Bedford, MA April 11

Smells Like the 90's and Gustos

We have loaded up some photos from this past weekend’s ‘SMELLS LIKE THE 90s’ show at the Portland House of Music. This show had been postponed from the weekend before due to snow, but we think it was worth the wait! Thanks to all that came out to support live music and enjoy the night of 90s rock that we dedicated to John ‘Yash’ Busta. Our friends Priceless Advice and Yellow LedVedder once again knocked it out of the park. Thanks for all the new FB likes, of course the venue for having us, and Ryan for mixing sound. Our next show will be at Gusto's Bar in Barre VT this Friday.  New video and audio to be uploaded soon.

Thanks also to Bill Mitchell and Dave Sword for their guest appearances. Bill was a founding member of the Nerve and will soon be out with his latest project “Plan B”. Bassman Dave has played with John and Paul in various bands and nailed Tool’s Sober. Thanks also to James for mixing sound, the venue for having us, and of course all of the great Nerve and Stone Temple Poser fans that enjoyed the show. Our next few appearances will include a recently added date on Thursday January 9 at Thunder Road in Somerville, MA with Five Against None (Pearl Jam tribute), followed by a date on Saturday January 18 at the Portland House of Music with Yellow LedVedder (Pearl Jam tribute) and Priceless Advice (Nirvana tribute). We will also be returning to Barre VT January 31 for an entire night of STP.  We also have booked some gigs at the Stone Church, the Vault, and Boneheads Live; check our calendar for dates.  Have a wonderful Christmas and New Years!
