Welcome

The Stone Temple Posers are a STP Tribute band based out of Plaistow, New Hampshire, and this is our official website.  Please visit our Facebook page and "like/follow" us and/or join our email list for monthly emails with updates and exclusive content.  We play 100% pure STP!  Although we have enough material to play a whole night, we often will share the night with one or more other great local tribute/original/cover bands.  For smaller and more intimate venues, we can perform a whole unplugged acoustic set of STP.  So if you are a venue in New England, contact us; if you are a fan, come see us.    If you are a venue looking for a demo video, please go to our EPK page; audio is on our Audio page.  We are also on ArtistBomb.com.  Our guitars/basses are expertly serviced by Chris from Black Cat Guitar (blackcatguitar.com).

The Stone Temple Posers heading to Manchvegas

The Stone Temple Posers want to thank all the fine people of Plaistow and beyond for joining us last night for an evening of unplugged STP. Thanks to the Plaistow Rec Department for having us back, Tom for mixing sound, and the weather gods for smiling kindly on us yet again. Our next show is Friday June 24 at the Shaskeen in Manchvegas NH. Friday night’s show will be fully amped up and rockin! The music starts at 9:30 with Nick (Priceless Advice) playing a set of unplugged Nirvana. No cover.

Next Show: Plaistow Summer Music Series

Thank you Hampton Beach and STP fans that came out to Wally’s last Sunday night for a 2-hour tour of STP’s catalog, from Core to Perdida. We had a great time, and appreciate all of our new fans. Thanks to Wally’s for having us, and Jim for running sound. Our next show will be kicking off the Plaistow Summer Music Series on June 22.  We will be playing a family-friendly acoustic show from 6-8 pm which is free for all.

The Stone Temple Posers return to Wally's

This weekend, the Stone Temple Posers return to Wally's for a rare early Sunday evening show at Wally's, Hampton Beach, NH. We go on at 5:30 and will play a 2 hour set primarily featuring deeper tracks from Core to Perdida, with a few hits mixed in. We are also planning an unplugged miniset. If you are an STP fan, and you're in the area Sunday night for some strange reason, drop on by and hang with us for a while!

Upcoming Shows

The Stone Temple Posers will be at Wally's (Hampton Beach) on Sunday May 22.  Note that this is a Sunday show starting at 5:30 PM.  We will be playing before the non-posers play at the Casino later that evening.  We will be focusing primarily on the deep tracks that you probably won't hear at the Casino.  If you are looking for a place to grab a bite before the Casino show, Wally's is the place to be.  In June we will be returning to Plaistow to kick off the summer music series on June 22 with an all-acoustic family-friendly show.  Then we head up to Manchvegas, NH for a night debauchery at the Shaskeen on June 24.  We will be joined by Nick Warren from Priceless Advice, who will play a set of unplugged Nirvana.

Bow out of Summer Jam 2

Unfortunately, due to the ‘rona (Covid), we have bowed out of the line up at this Saturday’s Summer Jam 2. Our next show is May 22 at Wally’s. Sorry, no megaphone for Weiland fans this weekend.

Thank you New Bedford!

Great crowd at the vault last night, thank you New Bedford for the love! Thanks also to the venue for the hospitality, to Tom for running sound, and We Die Young for melting faces with us. Some audio to be posted soon.  We will be at Summer Jam 2 later this month in Kingston, NH.

New Shows Added!

The Stone Temple Posers have added a few new gigs: We are happy to be opening Summer Jam 2 on April 30 at the Kingston VFW featuring five bands and running from 1-6 PM; we go on at 1 PM.  We are also playing at Wally's (Hampton, NH) on May 22 before the Stone Temple Pilots go on at the Casino.  We start at 5:30 and we will be playing a lot of STP's deep tracks that STP doesn't normally play live.  This weekend (April 16) we will be at the Vault (New Bedford, MA) opening up for We Die Young (Alice in Chains tribute).
