Welcome

The Stone Temple Posers are a STP Tribute band based out of Plaistow, New Hampshire, and this is our official website.  Please visit our Facebook page and "like" us and/or join our email list for monthly emails with updates and exclusive content.  We play 100% pure STP!  Although we have enough material to play a whole night, we often will share the night with one or more other great local tribute/original/cover bands.  For smaller and more intimate venues, we can perform a whole unplugged acoustic set of STP.  So if you are a venue in New England, contact us; if you are a fan, come see us.    If you are a venue looking for a demo video, please go to our EPK page; audio is on our Audio page.  We are also on ArtistBomb.com.  Our guitars/basses are expertly serviced by Chris from Black Cat Guitar (blackcatguitar.com).

Photos (courtesy of Ram Sports Entertainment Photography), audio and video will be loaded to our webpage soon.  Next Saturday we will be at the Crows Nest Pub and Grill in Plaistow, New Hampshire with Papa Ballz (papa roach tribute).  On May 24th we will be at Gustos in Barre Vermont.

Last Saturday night at the Davignon Snow Shoe Club Inc in Manchester we got to play 42 STP songs (plus 2 Velvet Revolver songs and one STP cover of a Zep song) in one night! Thanks to the friends, family, and crowd of STP fans for hanging out, and the Davignon for having us. Thanks to Randy and Marlene for sound. Our next show is at Mixers Nightclub & Lounge in Sabattus Maine on April 20 with Just Paranoid - Green Day Tribute Band and Priceless Advice (Nirvana tribute).

Davignon Club on March 30

The Stone Temple Posers want to thank Ashley and Chris for having us as guests on Appetite for Discussion last night (3/11), allowing us to play a few STP songs, and talk about our band, music, food, and politics. For those that missed it, the whole show will be on Hulkshare soon, and we’ll load up some audio on our webpage too.  We will be at the Davignon Club on March 30 later this month.

We are guests on Ashley Bottom’s Bottoms UP: Appetite for Discussion this Monday 3/11; our next live show is at the Davignon Snow Shoe Club Inc in Manchester later this month.

Thanks to Star 69 for inviting us to open and the venue for having us, we hope to be back soon.  Photos, video, and audio to be uploaded to our website soon.  Our next show will be Friday March 8 at the Skybox, another new venue for us.  Also appearing March 8 will be our friends Priceless Advice (Nirvana tribute).  Also, on March 11, we will be guests on Ashley Bottoms' radio show Bottoms Up, Appetite for Discussion.

Bonefish Harry's and the Breakaway

Had a cool time at Bonefish Harry’s this past weekend. Thanks to all the folks that came out to support local live music, and Joe for having us and taking photos (which have been uploaded to our photographs page). This venue has just started to have live bands on the weekends and has invested in a killer sound/light system. They also have a decent house drum kit and make a mean fish taco. Check them out! Later this month on 2/23 we make our debut at the Breakaway in Danvers, MA opening for Star69.
