The Stone Temple Posers are a STP Tribute band based out of Plaistow, New Hampshire, and this is our official website. Please visit our Facebook page and "like/follow" us and/or join our email list for monthly emails with updates and exclusive content. We play 100% pure STP! Although we have enough material to play a whole night, we often will share the night with one or more other great local tribute/original/cover bands. For smaller and more intimate venues, we can perform a whole unplugged acoustic set of STP. So if you are a venue in New England, contact us; if you are a fan, come see us. The Stone Temple Posers wish everyone a Happy New Year as we start 2024. We had a fun night at the Nest in Plaistow, NH last Friday night thanks to all the lively folks that hung with us all night. Props to Whatsername for opening with a set of Green Day, even though they were down one guy due to Covid. SOB masterfully mixed sound, thanks 3am Productions! Of course thanks to the Nest for having us on the last Friday of 2023. Our next show is at the Shaskeen in Manchvegas NH on January 26; Nick Warren will be opening with a set of unplugged Nirvana. We are also playing at the Blue Ocean (Salisbury, MA) on February 2 with Yellow LedVedder (Pearl Jam tribute) and the Portland House of Music on February 17 with Brock Landers Real Thing (AIC tribute). Come celebrate this milestone event with us as we bring you two solid sets of the finest STP tunes ever. New Gig Announcement: we are thrilled to be part of Triburpalooza on July 6 2024 at Melody Mountain Farm in Warren, NH. The Stone Temple Posers return to the premiere music destination on the North shore opening up for "All That 90's". All That 90's feature pop and rock hits with some boy bands and a sprinkle of grunge.
The Stone Temple Posers will be returning to Barre Vermont for a raucous night of STP. We will be playing a large part of the STP catalog including: their 16 top ten hits, acoustic songs, deep cuts, songs that STP covered, and Velvet Revolver.
The Stone Temple Posers return to the Portland House of Music with Yellow LedVedder (Pearl Jam tribute) and Priceless Advice (Nirvana tribute). $10 advance tickets; $15 day of show. This show was supposed to be on Saturday January 18, but it was postponed until January 24 due to a snow storm.

The Stone Temple Posers are returning to the Crow’s Nest Pub and Grill on Saturday November 30 playing all the STP hits. Also appearing will be a reunion of the Nerve. The Nerve was a popular cover band that played throughout southern NH and northern MA between 2003 and 2008. They are getting together for a one-time reunion gig featuring Alan “Pipes” McIntyre on lead vocals. The Nerve covers songs from: AC/DC, Judas Priest, Audioslave, AIC, Tool, Godsmack, Ozzy, Metallica, Sublime, Rage Against the Machine, and more.

Both bands will be recreating the MTV unplugged series from the March 16, 1992 (PJ) and November 17, 1993 (STP) by playing acoustic sets of popular material. Doors at 8pm.
