Stone Temple Posers

The Stone Temple Posers had an awesome night this past Saturday at the Angel City Music Hall! Thank you again Manchester and STP fans for your continued support of live music including the twin tam crew. Thanks also to Song Garden for opening the night with a rocking set of Chris Cornell songs, including hunger strike with Hal. Thanks to Adam and Kevin for sound and lights and the Angel City Music Hall for allowing us to bring our Weiland tribute show to Manchvegas. The Stone Temple Posers want to give thanks and praise to the STP disciples that congregated with us this past Friday night at the Stone Church. The hymn selection included songs about going to church on Tuesday and alligator sisters wanting to get to heaven on Sunday; praise Lord Scott! We also thank Nick from Priceless Advice for preaching with his acoustic guitar from the Book of Cobain before the main sermon of songs from the Vatican gift shop. Dave from the Stone Church superbly kept the church sound system on eleven for the duration of the service. The holy water and excellent craft beer selection was enjoyed by sinners and angels alike. The Stone Temple Posers want to thank the Templeton Fish and Game Club for having us at Beer Bacon and Bourbon Festival on September 10, Mr. Dube for inviting us, Bill for mixing sound, STP fans at the festival for rocking with us, the food/beer/bourbon vendors for their tasty samples, and of course the other great tribute bands we had the honor to share the stage with including Kelly and the Poor Boys (CCR), 19th Nervous Breakdown (Stones), and Brock Landers Real Thing (AIC). Our next show is this Friday, September 23 at the Stone Church in Newmarket NH with Nick from Priceless Advice (acoustic Nirvana tribute).  Time to get stoned at the Stone Church with your favorite Stone Temple Pilots tribute!  Advance Discounted Tickets on sale now.

Get your discounted tickets early to this event featuring beer, bacon, bourbon, and live music.  Numerous breweries, BBQers, and distilleries plus five live bands.    

Our next show will be on September 10 at "Bacon, Bourbon, and Beer".  This event will be at the Templeton Fish and Game Club on Club Road, Templeton, MA.  Tasting stations from local chefs, restaurants, distilleries, and breweries will be set up.  Tasting and voting will occur from 3-6pm.  Winners will be announced at 7:30.  We will be playing with three other tribute bands from 4 - 9 including Kelley and the Poor Boys (CCR) 19the Nervous Breakdown (Rolling Stones), Brock Landers Real Thing (Alice in Chains).

Due to Covid, we have had to pull ourselves out of the line up for this weekend’s scheduled gig in Rhode Island.  Wuhon is playing instead of us.  See you in September.

Firstly, thank you citizens of Manchvegas, friends, family, and STP fans for coming out to support live music this past Friday night at the Shaskeen. Thanks to Nick from Priceless Advice who did not disappoint with a blistering set of unplugged solo Nirvana to start the night. Thanks to the Shaskeen for having us and Scotty for running sound.  Our next show will be in West Greenwich, RI at the Tavern on the Hill, yes we are finally returning to Rhode Island!  This will be an outdoor Sunday show from 2-7pm on July 17.  We will be playing with Say Hello II Heaven (Chris Cornell tribute band).  Tickets $10.  Proceeds going to Barracks 22 Foundation.

The Stone Temple Posers want to thank all the fine people of Plaistow and beyond for joining us last night for an evening of unplugged STP. Thanks to the Plaistow Rec Department for having us back, Tom for mixing sound, and the weather gods for smiling kindly on us yet again. Our next show is Friday June 24 at the Shaskeen in Manchvegas NH. Friday night’s show will be fully amped up and rockin! The music starts at 9:30 with Nick (Priceless Advice) playing a set of unplugged Nirvana. No cover.

Thank you Hampton Beach and STP fans that came out to Wally’s last Sunday night for a 2-hour tour of STP’s catalog, from Core to Perdida. We had a great time, and appreciate all of our new fans. Thanks to Wally’s for having us, and Jim for running sound. Our next show will be kicking off the Plaistow Summer Music Series on June 22.  We will be playing a family-friendly acoustic show from 6-8 pm which is free for all.

This weekend, the Stone Temple Posers return to Wally's for a rare early Sunday evening show at Wally's, Hampton Beach, NH. We go on at 5:30 and will play a 2 hour set primarily featuring deeper tracks from Core to Perdida, with a few hits mixed in. We are also planning an unplugged miniset. If you are an STP fan, and you're in the area Sunday night for some strange reason, drop on by and hang with us for a while!
