The Stone Temple Posers are a STP Tribute band based out of Plaistow, New Hampshire, and this is our official website. Please visit our Facebook page and "like/follow" us and/or join our email list for monthly emails with updates and exclusive content. We play 100% pure STP! Although we have enough material to play a whole night, we often will share the night with one or more other great local tribute/original/cover bands. For smaller and more intimate venues, we can perform a whole unplugged acoustic set of STP. So if you are a venue in New England, contact us; if you are a fan, come see us. The Stone Temple Posers will be returning to the Boat in Dracut, MA Friday, March 8. We will be sharing the stage with the bawdy Limp Ballz (Limp Bizkit tribute) and the infamous Prophets of Doom (Clutch tribute). $10 door.

The Stone Temple Posers wish everyone a Happy New Year as we start 2024. We had a fun night at the Nest in Plaistow, NH last Friday night thanks to all the lively folks that hung with us all night. Props to Whatsername for opening with a set of Green Day, even though they were down one guy due to Covid. SOB masterfully mixed sound, thanks 3am Productions! Of course thanks to the Nest for having us on the last Friday of 2023. Our next show is at the Shaskeen in Manchvegas NH on January 26; Nick Warren will be opening with a set of unplugged Nirvana. We are also playing at the Blue Ocean (Salisbury, MA) on February 2 with Yellow LedVedder (Pearl Jam tribute) and the Portland House of Music on February 17 with Brock Landers Real Thing (AIC tribute). Also, note that you can still get early bird reduced-price tickets to the 7/6/24 Tributepalooza event in Warren, NH; after January 4 ticket prices go up.

Had a great time at The Vault last Friday night. Thanks to all the STP fans that helped us celebrate our 100th show with our frontman Hal, you guys rock! Our 100th show with our singer Hal is scheduled for November 17, 2023 at the Vault in New Bedford, MA! Come celebrate this milestone event with us as we bring you two solid sets of the finest STP tunes ever. Joining us for this monumental show will be Electric Temple (Cult tribute), that will absolutely bring it! New Gig Announcement: we are thrilled to be part of Triburpalooza on July 6 2024 at Melody Mountain Farm in Warren, NH. The Stone Temple Posers will be headlining the Beer, Bacon, and Bourbon Festival at the Templeton Fish and Game Club. Tasting stations from local chefs, restaurants, distilleries, and breweries will be set up. Tasting and voting will occur from 3-6pm. Winners will be announced at 7:30pm. We will be playing with three other tribute bands from 4 - 9pm including Kelley and the Poor Boys (CCR) 19the Nervous Breakdown (Rolling Stones), Brock Landers Real Thing (Alice in Chains). The proceeds from merchandise sales along with a 50/50 raffle will go to Barracks 22, a non-profit group who focuses on helping struggling war veterans.
