The Stone Temple Posers are a STP Tribute band based out of Plaistow, New Hampshire, and this is our official website.  Please visit our Facebook page and "like" us and/or join our email list for monthly emails with updates and exclusive content.  We play 100% pure STP!  Although we have enough material to play a whole night, we often will share the night with one or more other great local tribute/original/cover bands.  For smaller and more intimate venues, we can perform a whole unplugged acoustic set of STP.  So if you are a venue in New England, contact us; if you are a fan, come see us.    If you are a venue looking for a demo video, please go to our EPK page; audio is on our Audio page.  We are also on ArtistBomb.com.  Our guitars/bass are expertly serviced by Chris from Black Cat Guitar (blackcatguitar.com).

New Audio Uploaded

Some new audio, four songs to be exact, have been uploaded to our "Audio" page from this past weekend's gig at the Central Tavern in Milford, MA.  Thanks to Jeff (livesoundnow.com) for running sound for us.  New photos and video were also recently uploaded.

Lucky Dog 5/16/15 Recap

The Stone Temple Posers took to the stage at the Lucky Dog in Worcester, MA last Saturday night.  Colossal Blackout started things off with some shredding 90s music including a few Metallica classics.  Scott was an unlucky dog cuz he found out minutes before we were to go on that his truck had been towed (thanks Pat's).  After retrieving his truck with Erick Godin's help, he ran 4 blocks and jumped on stage without missing a beat; give this man some oxygen!  Anyway, we had a great time performing our set without further incident.  Thanks to Craig and Debbie who drove up from CT for the show (unfortunately also victims of Pat's), Bob, and all the new fans we met.  Second Hand Smoke lit up the place after us with an endless slew of Sublime grooves.  We know some people took videos; we plan to share them when we get 'em.  Audio and photos from the show will also be uploaded soon. Thank you Erick for opening your doors to us and allowing us to play with SHS again.  We hope to return to the Dog some time in the future.

Uncle Eddies rocked last Friday Night

The Stone Temple Posers had a great time with Second Hand Smoke (a Sublime tribute) at Uncle Eddies in Salisbury, MA last Friday night.  These guys krank out some awesome grooves: Ant driving the beat, Josh adding the scratch track, Mike with the irie guitar, Jamie dropping the low notes and Rob on vocals.  Thanks also to Andrew, Dave (get that AIC trib going already), Rene, Audra (shhh, we wont tell Tami you went to Eddies), Julio, Tammy, Holly, and Saundra for hanging out and throwing back a few with the band.  Thanks always to the wives/sig others for putting up with the rock and roll lifestyle.  We hope to get some video, photos, and audio from this past weekend posted soon.  We'll be in Worcester on May 16 at the Lucky Dog with Second Hand Smoke if you missed us this past weekend.

Stone Church Rocked Last Night

The Stone Temple Posers rocked a short set at the Stone Church last night and preached the proverbs of Scott, Dean, Robert, and Eric, otherwise known as the Apostles of STP. We had a great time and would like to thank Scott's racquetball warriors for showing their support.  Made some new friends, most notably the band Faraday Heat (I'm sure I didn't get the name right) who were nice enough to offer the use of their drum kit; Jack's kids rock!.  Got to see some emerging comics and musicians.  Dave was an awesome host; Greg ran awesome sound, and of course Abby kept the libations flowing.  We hope to be back sometime soon.

Get Stoned with the Stone Temple Posers at the Stone Church

That's right, we will be playing a short set of STP songs at the famous Stone Church Meeting House in Newmarket, NH on Sunday night, April 26, 2015.  This will be a free show.  They have some great brews on tap.  We anticipate we will start between 8:30 and 9:00PM, but after the third 8% IPA, who is keeping track of time?

New Audio Uploaded

The Stone Temple Poser boys dished out some 90s era rock at Rack's Bar and Grill in Plaistow last night.  Thanks go out to Dave, Phil and the rest of the Thursday night regulars for their warm hospitality.  Fueled with Rhonda's awesome cocktails, we managed to not destroy too much of the stage and equipment.  Audio highlights from the night are on our Audio page...have a listen.
